When you're entertaining family and friends as well as trying to ensure that your adoption case gets registered with the Central Authority so that you can go back into the PGN. Max's adoption case DID get registered (this past week - phew!) so now we hope to learn that we are resubmitted back into the PGN this coming week. Also I am including some highlight photos from the loco tia's visit as well as ones from my parents visiting again over the last week. My mom will stay thru the end of the month and then Mark comes back in March (yeah!). Highlights include just hanging around Antigua, a coffee plantation tour, shopping (the Tia's liked to shop), moving day to our new apartment in late January, and hanging with Nana & Papa. Needless to say, Max has loved all the attention!
As most of you know, we have been waiting WAY too long to bring our sweet Maxito home from Guatemala. Due to unforeseen delays we have decided to begin the next leg of our adoption journey in Antigua, Guatemala. At the end of November 2007, I will be staying down in Guatemala until our adoption is finalized. Around the same time, Max will also have his first birthday (hooray)! We are so excited and so anxious all at the same time.
We hope you enjoy our 'snapshots' highlighting our journey at finally become a true family!
